Mobile Inspection Application
Scope.
A customer in the telecoms industry required regular inspection and maintenance of their existing and new telecoms sites. The current process of inspections was being performed on paper-based systems and process which was starting to become problematic in data management.
Historical data was becoming hard to report on as the paper-based surveys were either capture incorrectly or lost.
Solution.
A mobile application version of the survey forms was developed.
The application allows the users to inspect the sites and capture all the required information on mobile applications. For the management of the mobile application inspections, a connected web application was developed where inspection management teams could view all recorded data on sites. The application requires the user to complete all required fields and as an additional security check also has the function to see whether the inspection occurred on the site using geolocation.
