IT Specialist – Remote Support

We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to join our Team and provide high-quality level 1 IT support for our partner company in Germany, from our office based in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha.
Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for all IT-related topics and support requests
- Handle user requests via ticket system, telephone, IM, and e-mail
- Resolve requests directly or coordinate with next level support as required
- Document solutions and contribute suggestions to improve service level
- Administer user and computer accounts, various software applications
- Monitor and support IT operations
Education and Experience:
- At least a 3-year degree or diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT support role
Core Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Windows 10 and 11
- Microsoft Windows Server 2019+
- Microsoft 365 and Office applications
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Linux operating systems
- Networking concepts
- Servers and VM
- Cybersecurity
Soft Skills and Personal Qualities:

Schedule:
- Weekdays, excluding South African holidays
- Hours will vary between 08:00 to 17:00, 09:00 to 18:00, and 10:00 to 19:00
- Occasional work outside of regular hours, compensated
