About the Role.

S4 is looking for an experienced mechanical designer to work on designs for special purpose machinery.

Job Duties:

  • Develop detailed 3D models for mechanical equipment, dies, tools and controls using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment
  • Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions followed
  • Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery
  • Develop detailed manufacturing drawings including general assemble, bill of materials, tolerance and special comments

Requirements :

  • At least three years of draughting / design experience specifically in the machine building arena
  • Mechanical engineering diploma or related qualification
  • Experience with Inventor software
